Lampshade Making Workshop – Create a 30cm Drum Lampshade

Join us for a fun, relaxed lampshade making workshop where you’ll create your very own 30cm drum lampshade to take home. Whether you’re looking for a statement piece for a table lamp or a pendant light, this workshop is perfect for beginners and creatives alike.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process in a friendly, informal setting – no previous experience needed. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a professionally finished lampshade and the confidence to say “I made that!”

•    All tools and specialist materials

•    A completed 30cm drum lampshade suitable for a table lamp or pendant

Workshop details:
•    Duration: approximately 1.5 hours
•    Location: First floor studio at Live Like the Boy (please note there are stairs)
•    Skill level: Beginner friendly

What you need to bring:
•    Your chosen fabric, minimum size: 96cm wide x 30cm deep
(This will wrap perfectly around the lampshade) We can offer help and guidance, most fabrics are sold at 135cm wide so if you’re out shopping, a half metre or a metre is plenty!

Important information:
•    Spaces are limited
•    Please wear comfortable clothing
•    Unfortunately, due to stairs, this workshop may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
